The owner of this Challenger had
bought the car for long continental road trips. He loved
the shape of the car, the engine and the image but was less
enamoured of the build quality, trim and finish. Initially
we were asked to upgrade the audio system and install navigation.
This quickly escalated to cover additional trim work (leather
to the dashboard and doors) and a multitude of other things.
After the first transcontinental trip the car was returned to us for some additional
work. The front seats were modified to improve both comfort
as well as support. The manual lumbar support was motorised
as was the new “under knee” support. We re-trimmed the seats
and headlining, veneered the console and dashboard in carbon
fibre, fitted Eibach sports suspension as well as a host
of other things. We also installed a few covert safety camera
warning systems, reversing camera and other modifications.
All of the external matt black plastic trim was replaced
with carbon fibre.
