After all the rear seat entertainment work that we’ve been doing, an audio upgrade was a refreshing break. The owner of this car has been a customer for many years and we had worked on his C63 AMG some months earlier. On that occasion we’d been asked to keep everything very discrete, now, however, he was happy for us go a bit further…..

As with most modern vehicles with fully integrated head units and satnav displays, we had to retain the original head unit. However, there are a wide range of products available that enable this to be achieved with the minimum of fuss. We upgraded all the speakers and built a “floating” enclosure in the boot to house the amplifiers and sub-woofers.
